The Cornwallis Suite

The Cornwallis Suite is Maidstone’s go-to event venue, available to hire for weddings,
parties, funerals, business conferences and everything in between. Our spacious function
room can seat up to 160 guests and we also have a beautiful garden with a gazebo that’s
perfect for summer social occasions. We pride ourselves on our excellent facilities, which
include a fully licensed bar, comfortable lounge area, ample outdoor parking for 80 cars and
much more.

As an event venue, The Cornwallis Suite is incredibly versatile. We regularly host birthday parties, anniversary parties, garden parties, baby showers, bridal showers, christenings, funeral receptions, conferences, exhibitions, charity events and more.

Catering Services

Bespoke in-house catering from our sister business Thyme 2 Dine, which has been operating since 1988, will make your event truly special. Whether you’re looking for an indulgent 3- course sit-down meal, a generous buffet or a charming garden BBQ, we will go above and beyond to meet your needs.

Function room

Our large indoor function room can seat up to 160 people. It is ideal for big parties but if you don’t require the whole space, it can be divided to create two smaller, separate rooms.

Garden

Make the most of the sunshine and have your event outside! The Cornwallis Suite garden is fantastic for exclusive summer weddings and parties. You can get married under our lovely gazebo and opt for a delicious fully-catered BBQ or hog roast.

Bar and lounge

As you enter The Cornwallis Suite, you’ll find a charming lounge area with comfortable sofas. There is also a fully licensed bar stocked with all your favourite drinks to
take advantage of.

Parking

The Cornwallis Suite has accessibility and convenience front of mind. We have a car park for 80 cars, with easy access for coaches.
